Church. His Doctor of Ministry Project was "Enabling Churches to Grow in West Virginia" Participated in the 1986 World Evangelism Institute in Ghana, Africa.
JOEL S. ALLEN, PH.D.

Pastor at First United Methodist Church, Barbourville, Kentucky. He is a member of the Kentucky Conference of
the United Methodist Church. Joel received his PhD in Biblical Studies at Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati,
Ohio. He received his Master of Divinity from Asbury
Theological Seminary in 1995. Joel is adjunct faculty at Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky.

CHUCK JACK
Conference Superintendent of the Red Bird Missionary Conference of the United Methodist Church. Chuck was
commissioned a United Methodist Home Missionary at the Global Gathering in 1987. He is a member of the West Ohio Conference. He is a graduate of Harvard University and received his Master of Divinity from Methodist Theological School in Ohio. Chuck has done graduate work in linguistics and biblical studies at Graduate Theological Union in California.
KEN A. RAMSEY, D. MIN.

Pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, Morgantown, WV. Member of the West Virginia Conference of the
United Methodist Church. Received the Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary, 1991--Master of
Divinity, Candler School of Theology, Emory University,
1986. Ken has developed lay oriented ministries including
areas of visitation, caregiving, nurture, developed extension church schools, and developed new groups for youth and young adults composed of unchurched persons.

STACY R. MINGER, PH. D.

Assistant Professor of Preaching at Asbury Theological Seminary since 2004; Teaching Assistant at the University of Kentucky from 2002 to 2004. She received her Ph.D. in Interpersonal Communication from the University of Kentucky in 2003 and a D. Min from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1998. She is an Elder in the West Michigan Conference where she served from 1989 to 2001.

 

   

 

REX T. KANEY, D. MIN. 

Pastor of Druid Hills United Methodist Church, Atlanta, GA. Member of the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. His project for the Doctor of Ministry degree from Candler School of Theology was entitled
."Living with the Lord's Prayer: An Experiment in Personal
and Social Transformation".

RODNEY K. DUKE, PH.D.

Professor of Biblical Studies at Appalachian State University since 1991. Instructor: Intro. Hebrew, Hebrew Exegesis, Hebrew Readings, Psalms, at Candler School of Theology, 1984-88. He received his doctorate in Old Testament from Emory University. Author of many papers. Dr. Duke received the United Methodist Cokesbury Award of 1981-82.

RUTH A. WIERTZEMA, DIACONAL MINISTER OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Director of Connectional Ministries of the Red Bird Missionary Conference. Director of Christian Education. Director of Red
Bird School Christian Education Program. As a member of the General Board of Discipleship serves on the Curriculum Resource Committee.
H. EDDIE FOX, D. MIN.

World Director of Evangelism, The World Methodist Council since 1989. He has preached and lectured in more than 80 countries, national and international conferences and convocations of evangelism and youth. He served on the General Board of Discipleship and has served as pastor of congregations in Holston Conference for 16 years. He earned his D. Min from Vanderbilt Divinity School in 1978. Dr Fox is the author of many books including Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So and Faith-Sharing. He is the recipient of many awards of which include the Distinguished Evangelist Award.

CHARLES W BROCKWELL, PH.D.

Professor Emeritus of History, University of Louisville and Adjunct Professor of Methodist Studies, Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. From 1993 to 1997 he was Professor of Church History & Wesley Studies at Louisville Seminary. He earned his Ph.D. from Duke University in Medieval Church History and Wesley Studies in 1971. Dr. Brockwell is an Elder in the Kentucky Annual Conference.
