Annual Conference |
Annual Conference was held May 18 & 19, 2012 at Beverly United Methodist Church in Beverly, Kentucky. The theme this year was Look for the Blessing. Churches were encouraged to bring lists of ways that they had been blessed and a list of the Blessings they hoped would be to come. We learned that Blessings come with adversity, and that sometimes Blessings take hundreds of years to come to fruition. Of course we spent time counting our many blessings, naming them one by one. It was a great time of fellowship and praising God as we celebrated a year of working together in ministry and in Christ furthering the Kingdom of God.
The Conference Mission Offering for the Spring Storms was able to raise over $9,000 these funds will be divided between the Advance and the storms that occurred right here in our home state.
