Carol Crawford is a United Methodist missionary who has served for more than 18 years in the Red Bird Missionary Conference. She served for 16 years at Henderson Settlement, a mission institution in Frakes , Kentucky related to the General Board of Global Ministries. Carol also served for 3 years as the part-time local pastor of Wallins UMC, one of the 23 United Methodist Churches in the Red Bird Missionary Conference. On January 1st, 2004 she became the full-time pastor of Wallins UMC in Wallins Creek, Kentucky and continues until present. She was commissioned as a probationary elder in the Red Bird Missionary Conference in 2004.

Carol also served in the early 80's as a World Division missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries for two terms of service. In Mozambique, Africa she taught home economics and English as a second language to adults at CEMUDRI, the United Methodist Center for Rural and Industrial Development. She was also director of the Conference Women's Center in Maputo, Mozambique during its initial year of operation.

Carol has a B.S. in vocational home economics from Auburn University, a M.A. in special education from the University of Alabama, a M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary, and is currently enrolled at Asbury Theological Seminary in the doctorate of ministry program with a concentration of evangelism, missions and church growth. She plans to graduate in May 2006.

Carol and her husband, Tim, have two daughters, Abigail and Hannah .
