IMPACT APPALACHIA |
What this event is about:
Impact Appalachia is a day about giving back to the communities who need our help. There are many projects to choose from: home repairs,
community gardens, beautification, a community fair, and more.
Check out the details for each project at the bottom of this page and choose to help!
Overnight accommodations are available for many of the projects for a reasonable fee (Friday or Saturday night, $25 each night per person
or BOTH nights for $35 per person). This can be reserved when you register as a volunteer.
All registered volunteers will receive a FREE EVENT T-SHIRT!
First United Methodist Church, London will be providing childcare for the event day. Contact Lynette Bradford at

After the time of service, there will be a Celebration on Saturday evening at 5:00PM at the Red Bird School Gym.
What to prepare for:
Please wear closed-toed shoes for all projects.
Please bring the following items for the service portion of the day:
- sunscreen
- a hat
- bug repellant
- water bottle
If you are staying overnight, the accommodations coordinator for your site will contact you with further information (i.e., location
map, check in/out and meal times, etc).
Items you will need to bring for overnight stays are:
- air mattress
- pillow
- sleeping bag
- towel and washcloth
