Rev. David C. and Patricia A. Warden- #773990

Rev. and Mrs. David C. Warden are United
Methodist Missionaries assigned through the
General Board of Global Ministries to the
Red Bird Missionary Conference, Beverly,
Kentucky. Rev. Warden is the pastor of the
Beech Creek and Manchester First United
Methodist churches in Clay County.
Mrs. Warden is an educational assistant in
the music department at the Clay County
High School.

David came to the Red Bird Missionary Conference in 1996 after serving in New Mexico for a number of years. He is involved in many parts of the Red Bird Missionary Conference including the Conference Council on Ministries, the Board of Ordained Ministry, and he now serves as the Annual Conference Secretary.

Pat is very involved in the Conference United Methodist Women and regularly directs Christmas and Easter Choirs, along with instructing piano students in her home. She believes that God is moving through her choir ministry; “God has blessed our choir. It is small, but a very warm fellowship, and the people are anxious to learn all they can about music.”

David sees his ministry in Appalachia as "my call to serve the people here in Appalachia by offering pastoral care, encouragement and leadership, along with enabling the people here to get involved in mission.”

David and Pat are members of the Holston Annual Conference. They were married in 1968 and have a married son and two grandchildren.
