About our church...
The Warrens Chapel UMC was chartered
in 1932 and still worships in the same
building, although the sanctuary has been
renovated and a Sunday School wing add-
ed. Warrens Chapel became part of the
Red Bird Missionary Conference in 1974 when it requested to be transfered from the Kentucky Annual Conference.
Transforming lives...transforming communities...
Warrens Chapel has a very strong educational program. On Sundays worship precedes Sunday School and it is not uncommon to see as many as 20 more children, youth and adults arrive at the close of worship to take part in the dynamic Sunday Christian Education program.
On Wednesday nights, the Children’s Bible Club and the Adult Study both take place early in the evening, with the large youth group following afterward. There are sometimes as many as 40 youth involved in the second part of the evening, with the young people coming from many parts of the county. Warrens Chapel is one of the few churches in the entire county to have an active mid-week youth and children’s program. Thus there are frequently youth from other churches (or with little or no church background at all!) who take part regularly.
